About this northeast gift
Northeast is a region more than a city, so the people who'd wear this are usually telling you where they're from in a broad sense: New England winters, Thanksgiving traffic on the Mass Pike, a strong opinion about bagels or pizza, or a family that stayed put for generations. A Northeast shirt suits someone who grew up here and moved away, someone who still calls every rainy day a nor'easter, or a college student who adopted the region for four years and wants to keep it. Because the word is so wide, the second line does most of the work. Add a state, a city or a town, or a class year, and the shirt becomes specific to the person. For the transplant missing home, a mug with Northeast on it is a quiet daily reminder of where they're from. Hoodies work well for anyone who spends long cold mornings outside.
