About this oaklyn gift
Oaklyn is a small borough in Camden County, New Jersey, and the people who live there tend to know each other by street, by school, and by the local diner everyone meets at on Saturday. A gift for someone from Oaklyn lands best when it sounds like home rather than a generic souvenir. Start with a tee or hoodie that puts the town name front and center, then add a second line with the street, the high school class year or the neighborhood they grew up in. For the person who moved away and misses the place, an 11 oz mug is the everyday reminder they can keep on the counter. Parents of young kids might like a baby onesie or kids tee so the next generation can wear the name too. The shirt is only the start, though. The second line is where you make it theirs.
