About this salem gift
Salem is a name that means a lot of different things depending on who you're buying for. For some it's the North Shore town with the witch trials history and the October crowds. For others it's the city where they grew up, went to school or started a family, and a Salem shirt is a way of saying where they're from. Salem is also a common place name across the country, so the person you're shopping for might live in Oregon, New Hampshire or Virginia rather than Massachusetts. Whichever Salem it is, the shirt lands best when it's about their version of the place. Add a street, a school, a neighborhood or the year they moved there in the second line. A hoodie suits a student heading off to college, a mug suits the one who still calls the town home from far away, and a kids tee or onesie can start a family tradition before the kid can read.
