About this setauket gift
Setauket is a hamlet on the North Shore of Long Island, in the Town of Brookhaven, known for its colonial-era history and tree-lined village green. People who grew up there, or who spent summers on the harbor, tend to feel a strong pull toward the place, and a shirt with its name is a quiet way to say where home is. A gift for someone from Setauket lands best when it ties to the everyday things they know: the village, the water, a school or a neighborhood they remember. Use the second line for a street, a year they moved away, or the class they graduated with. A mug suits the one who moved for work and misses the North Shore mornings, while a hoodie fits someone heading back for the cold months. Because the name is specific, a design with a personal detail does more than a generic town souvenir.
