Greetings from Tolono Postcard mug

About this tolono gift

Tolono is a small village in Champaign County, Illinois, and most people who live there will tell you the same thing: it's the kind of place where everybody knows the name of the town and has a story about it. A shirt that says Tolono is how someone from there wears it without making a speech about it. It works for a homecoming trip, a family reunion held in town, or the friend who moved away for work and still counts Tolono as home. Because small towns carry a lot of local pride, a plain town name on a tee or hoodie tends to land better than a big generic slogan. Add the year they graduated from the local school, the year they moved, or the street they grew up on, and it becomes a piece of their own history. A mug is a good fit for the transplant's kitchen, where a little hometown pride is a daily reminder of where they came from.
