About this wimbledon gift
Wimbledon is a place most people know only from the tennis on TV, so a Wimbledon gift tends to go to someone who has a real tie to it. Maybe they grew up in the leafy southwest London suburb, spent a summer working in the village, or simply love the strawberries and cream and the white-clad crowds every July. A shirt with Wimbledon on it is a quick way to say you know where their heart is. If you want it to feel personal, add a second line with the street they grew up on, the year they moved away, or the tournament year they went to see play. For someone who now lives far from London, a Wimbledon mug on the morning tea tray is a small reminder of home. For a tennis fan, a hoodie for the chilly evenings of the early summer season lands well. The tournament runs over two weeks at the end of June and into early July, so ordering a few weeks ahead keeps the gift in time for the match-watching season.
