About this die maker apprentice gift
A die maker apprentice is learning to build the steel tools that shape metal parts, often in a shop with a mill, a lathe and a lot of measuring. The work is precise and slow to learn, and the early months can feel like you're cutting the same thing over and over until it's right. A gift that acknowledges the apprenticeship itself lands well: a tee or hoodie that names the trade and the year they started, or a mug for the shop coffee that's clearly theirs. Keep the wording to the trade and the training, not a company or an employer, since the page can't speak for any shop. If you know their shop's habits, like the early-morning shift or the long hours at the bench, a line about that in the second spot makes the design feel like it was made for them. Print the word exactly as they describe it, and let the design do the rest.
