About this director testing gift
A director of testing usually runs a team that keeps releases honest: planning test coverage, deciding what ships, and absorbing the blame when something slips past them into production. Their days are a mix of status meetings, escalations, and quiet arguments about whether a bug is really blocking. Gifts that land for this person tend to acknowledge the pressure without pretending the job is glamorous. A soft tee they can wear to a weekend project, a hoodie for the long stretch before a major release, or a mug that sits on the desk through every standup all say you see the work. Add their title to the design, or put the word testing on the second line, and it reads as theirs. If you're buying for a whole QA group, the Team Shop lets you order one design with each person's name on their own shirt, which tends to be more welcome than another generic team lunch.
