About this editing internship gift
An editing intern is usually the person who gets handed the messiest manuscript and asked to find the one missing comma that holds up the whole issue. They spend long days with track changes, style guides and a stack of queries, and most of their learning happens while they're quietly fixing someone else's sentences. A gift that acknowledges that work lands well. A tee that says editing intern is a fine start, but adding the publication, the newsroom or the year they started makes it theirs. Interns often have a second job, a campus schedule or a long commute, so comfortable pieces they can wear to a late proofreading session tend to get used. If they're finishing the internship and heading into a first real job, a hoodie with the year on it marks the moment well.
All editing internship gifts →- A hoodie for late-night proofingAdd the year they started or finished so it marks the internship itself. It'll be the layer they reach for on long evenings at the desk.
- A mug for the deskAn 11 oz mug with editing intern on it survives the shared kitchen and reminds them of the work they're building toward.
- A tee with the publication nameType the publication or newsroom into the second line so the shirt reflects where they actually spent the summer.
