About this fireman gift
Firefighters work long shifts, often overnight, and they spend a lot of that time in gear that's hot, heavy and not very comfortable. The gifts they hang onto are the ones that feel good to wear when they're off duty: a soft tee for a day at the lake, a hoodie for the chilly drive home, a mug for the coffee they drink at the station table. Firemen and firefighters often use their department and crew as a second family, so a shirt that shows which house they're assigned to, or the year they joined, means something to them. If you're buying for a whole crew, one design with each person's name printed on their own shirt makes a better gift than another round of coffee for the group. Pick the word that fits how they describe the job, add a second line with their name or station, and the shirt becomes theirs.
