About this head start director gift
A Head Start director runs a program that gives preschoolers from low-income families a start on school, and that usually means budgets, grant reports, staffing gaps and a lot of early mornings at the center. The people in this role tend to keep going on the strength of the kids and the families they see every day. A gift that acknowledges the job itself lands well: a tee for the program's fall kickoff, a hoodie for the cold drive to a monitoring visit, or a mug that's clearly theirs on a desk full of paperwork. Putting the title on it, director or program director, and adding the name of their center or the county they serve (if you know it) makes it specific to them. If you're buying for a whole leadership team or a staff group, the Team Shop lets you order one design with each person's name on their own shirt. Head Start is a federally funded program, and many directors mark the start of each school year with a staff event, so a few weeks ahead of that is a good time to order.
