About this mechanic gift
Mechanics spend their days under hoods and under cars, and they go through shirts faster than almost anyone. Grease, brake dust and coolant take a toll, so a gift that's meant to be worn at the shop should be something they won't mind ruining, and a second one that stays clean for off-duty days. Dark tees hide the stains well, and a hoodie handles a cold garage in January. Most mechanics also have a specialty and a bit of pride about it: diesel, European imports, transmissions, classic muscle, motorcycles. Put it on the shirt. Add their name, the shop's name, or the year they opened, and it reads like something they'd have picked out themselves. A mug is a safe bet for the counter or the bench, since it'll sit near the coffee pot all day. If you're buying for a whole crew, the Team Shop prints one design with each person's name, so the shop looks like a team on the floor and in the photo.

- A mug for the shop counterAn 11 oz mug with their name or the shop's name gives them a coffee cup that doesn't get mixed up with the customers' or the crew's.
