About this pricer gift
A pricer is the person who puts the price on things, usually in a store's back room or stockroom, with a price gun in hand and a stack of labels to get through before the doors open. It's detail work that most shoppers never think about until a sticker is wrong, so the people who do it well tend to be quietly proud of their accuracy and speed. A pricer's gift should acknowledge that: a shirt or mug that treats the job as a real trade rather than a joke. Put their name on it, or their store or department if you know it, and add a line like the year they started. The break room is where a pricer spends a lot of their time, so a mug with their name keeps the coffee from wandering off. Hoodies suit the cold stockroom or the early shift, and tees work well for the day after a long restock.
