It's a Ellison Thing mug

About this ellison gift

Ellison is a name a family tends to hold onto, whether it's a grandparent's surname, a parent's maiden name or the one that ended up on a birth certificate after a long family argument. A shirt or mug with Ellison on it gives that name a place to live. The person you're shopping for may be the family's keeper of stories, the one who knows which cousin got the Ellison nose or where the old farmhouse was. Think about what they'd want the name to say. A first name on the same design can mark the generation, a reunion year marks the gathering, and a hometown marks the roots. Because it's a last name, the design works for a wide range of people: a newlywed who took the name, a child proud of their family, or a relative who's kept the family history alive. The hoodie suits cold reunion weekends, the mug suits the kitchen table, and a kids tee or onesie lets the newest Ellison start wearing the name early.
