About this kale gift
Kale is a first name, so the person getting this gift is probably someone who has heard every joke about it already, and has probably made peace with it. A shirt with their name on it is a small way of saying you know who they are, and that the name is theirs rather than a punchline. It works for birthdays, a new friendship, a coworker's desk, or a kid's room where the name is already on the door. The people who carry a name like this often like things that are clearly personal, so put it front and center and let the design speak. If the gift is for a child, a baby onesie or kids tee gives the name a place in their earliest photos. If it's for an adult, a hoodie or a mug is the everyday version: something they'll reach for without thinking, with their name on it every time.
