About this athena gift
Athena is a name with some weight behind it. Most people who carry it know the goddess of wisdom and craft, and plenty of them have heard every owl joke going. There's also Athens, Georgia, and a handful of small US towns called Athena, which is why the word turns up under cities too. If you're buying for an Athena, the best gifts are the ones that say her name like it matters, because to her it does. A tee or hoodie with Athena across the front works for a birthday, a first day of school or a graduation. Add a second line with a year, a nickname or a team and it's hers alone. For a baby named Athena, a onesie is the first thing in her drawer with her name on it, and a kids tee takes over when she's running around. A mug with her name keeps her coffee or cocoa from wandering off to someone else's desk.
