About this earl gift
Earl is a name with some age on it, and the people who carry it tend to wear it with a little pride. Maybe it's your grandfather who's been Earl to the whole town for decades, your husband who's tired of the Earl jokes and secretly loves them, or a new baby named after a great-grandfather. Earl is also a place name in a handful of spots, so it can double as a hometown shirt. A gift with the name on it works because it's short, bold and easy to read from across a room. Add a second line to make it more personal: a year, a nickname, a title like Grandpa or Dad, or a number for a birthday. Earl shirts also suit a family reunion where one Earl is the center of the whole gathering, or a fishing trip where the man himself should be easy to spot.
All earl gifts →- A mug for Earl's morning coffeePut Earl on an 11 oz mug, with Grandpa or Dad underneath if you like. It's the kind of thing that stays by the coffee maker for years.
- A birthday tee with his ageUse the second line for a milestone like 70 or 80. It works for a surprise party where everyone wears the same shirt.
- A hoodie for the cold-weather fisherman or woodworkerA hoodie with Earl on the front is easy to throw on in the garage or at the lake, and it lands better than another generic sweatshirt.
- A baby onesie named after great-grandpaIf a new baby carries the name, an Earl onesie is a nice nod to the family. Pair it with a grandpa mug for the one he's named for.
