Made in Calder Label mug

About this calder gift

Calder is a small name to build a gift around, and that's worth saying up front. Whoever this is for is probably a Calder, a Calder local, or someone who's lived in a town of that name and carries it with them. Since the word is a place, the gift works best when it reads like a hometown pride piece: the kind of shirt worn to the local fair, the hoodie pulled on for a cold morning, the mug that says where they're from before they say anything. Think about what the person actually does and where they go. A grandparent who never leaves the county will love a plain Calder tee for the porch. A student who moved away for school may want something for a dorm room or a first winter in a new city. Use the second line of a design for something personal, like a street, a school class year, or a family name, so the shirt tells the story you already know. If you're unsure how much a place means to them, ask one question before you order: would they wear it in public? That answer usually points to the right product.
