About this hoopa gift
Hoopa is a small town in Humboldt County, California, on the Hoopa Valley Indian Reservation along the Trinity River, and most of the people who call it home have deep ties to the land and to their family's place there. If you're buying a gift for someone from Hoopa, or for someone who has moved away and still thinks of it as home, the best choice is something they'll wear or use where they actually live. A tee for the summer, a hoodie for the cool mornings by the river, or a mug that says where they're from can all work well. Since Hoopa is a small place, the name itself carries a lot of meaning, so a design with just the town name often says more than any added slogan would. You can add a family name or a year on the second line if you want the shirt to feel personal. Think about whether the person is staying close to home or has gone off to school or work somewhere else, since that changes what will feel most like theirs.
