About this mcgregor gift
McGregor is a small town, so the people who get a McGregor shirt are often the ones who grew up there and miss it. A tee or hoodie with the town name is how they show that they're from somewhere specific, not just from the Midwest or wherever people say they're from. Small places like this run on being known, so a shirt or mug that says McGregor can be the gift that feels most like home to someone who moved away for work or school. The town name works well on a mug for the kitchen of someone who still gets the local paper, or a hoodie for a long winter. Because the word is short and the town is small, a second line can do a lot of work: add the year they were born, a high school class, or the street they grew up on. Those details tell the person receiving the gift that you know where they come from.
