About this windsor locks gift
Windsor Locks is a small town in north-central Connecticut, and the people who grew up there tend to stay attached to it, whether they still live on the same street or moved to Hartford, Boston or somewhere much farther away. A town shirt is how they say where they're from without a long explanation, and it lands especially well with someone who came back for the holidays or ended up across the country and misses the way home looks. Because it's a smaller place than the big cities, the personal details carry the most weight: a graduating class year, a high school they went to, a street or a neighborhood nickname everyone there would recognize. Put a second line under the town name and the shirt becomes a story rather than a souvenir. Hoodies work well for cold-weather years, and a mug suits the person who starts every morning in their own kitchen.
