Attapulgus Minimal Line mug

About this attapulgus gift

Attapulgus is a small town in southwest Georgia, and the people who grew up there tend to hold onto it. A shirt with the town name is how someone who left for a job in Atlanta or a school in Tallahassee keeps a little of home in their closet, and it's the thing they'll wear to the next homecoming without thinking twice. Small places like this don't have a lot of souvenir shops, so a personal design does more than a generic one would. Add a year, a street, a family name or a graduating class and the shirt becomes about their particular corner of the town. For the one who's stayed, a hoodie through the cold months, or a mug for the kitchen, says the same thing. You don't need to know the town's history to make it land; you just need to put its name where they'll see it every day.
