About this big clifty gift
Big Clifty is a small place, and the people who come from there usually know each other, or at least know whose grandmother used to run what. That kind of hometown pride is easy to miss in the big-city gift aisles, which is why a shirt or mug with the name on it can mean more to them than a generic souvenir. Think about who you're buying for. A grown kid who left for a job in another state might want a hoodie for the cold winters they now spend far from home. A parent or grandparent who never left might like a mug for the kitchen table, where they've probably been drinking coffee for decades. Use the design to say something real about the place: add the year they were born there, a street, or the name of the school they went to. Since the town is small, a note in the second line may tell the story better than the main word alone.
