About this faulkner gift
Faulkner is a name with a family in it, and that's usually what the gift is really for. A Faulkner shirt works at a reunion where the cousins want to find each other across a crowded lawn, at a wedding where the whole family matches for the photos, or on a grandparent's mug that says whose kitchen it is. Faulkner is also the name of a town and a few places in the US, so some people who wear it are proud of where they come from before they're proud of the surname. If you know the family's story, a second line can carry it: a reunion year, a town, a generation or the name of the farm. Baby onesies and kids tees suit a new Faulkner in the family, and a hoodie fits the teenager who's still too cool for matching shirts but secretly wants one anyway.
