About this fort plain gift
Fort Plain is a village on the Mohawk River in upstate New York, and people from there tend to stay attached to it. Whether they still live in town, have moved to Albany or Syracuse, or are back for summer visits, a shirt with Fort Plain on it says where they're from in a way a generic tee never could. It's a good gift for someone who's gone away and misses the place, or for a local who wears their hometown with pride. Add a second line like a street, a school year or a family name, and the shirt becomes personal to them. A mug suits the morning coffee routine, and a hoodie works through the long upstate winters. Because this is a small place, a few details from the person's own life will matter more than any general description of the village.
