About this gowrie gift
Gowrie is a small town, and that's the first thing to know about the person you're shopping for. Someone from a place like this usually has a strong sense of home, with a few familiar faces at the grocery store and a tie to the local school or ballfield that outsiders would never quite understand. A shirt with the town name is a way of saying you know where they're from. It works especially well for someone who left and comes back for holidays, reunions or family visits, because the shirt says home before they've said a word. You can change the second line to a year, a graduating class, or the name of the street they grew up on, which makes it personal rather than a generic souvenir. For someone who still lives there, a mug or hoodie does the same job every day, a small reminder of where they belong.
