About this hockley gift
Hockley is a small place name, and most people who've never been there have no idea where it is, which is part of why it means something to the people who have. A Hockley shirt is for someone who grew up there, moved away and still calls it home, or who simply loves the name and wants to wear it. Since this word is a place rather than a famous city, the best gifts lean on the person rather than the town: a tee with the year they moved, a mug for the kitchen of someone who misses home, or a hoodie for a cold morning in a new city. Many designs have a second line, so you can add a street, a neighborhood or a year and make it theirs. Because it's a name people may not recognize, the shirt often starts a conversation, and that's a nice thing to give someone who's far from where they started.
