About this joplin gift
Joplin is a city in the southwest corner of Missouri, known for its Route 66 history and its place in the Ozarks foothills. People who grew up there tend to carry the name a long way, whether they moved to Springfield for work, to Kansas City for school or to somewhere much farther away. A Joplin shirt is how they claim the place, especially for a visit home or a reunion with old friends. Pair the city name with a second line for the street they lived on, their high school class year or the year they left, and the design becomes a record of their own story rather than a souvenir. Hoodies suit cold Missouri mornings, and a mug works well for the friend who still gets up early to call the town home.
