About this kahului gift
Kahului is the main town on the island of Maui, home to the airport, the harbor and the working heart of the island, where people shop, commute and gather between the beaches and the mountains. The people who live there, or who grew up there and moved away, often feel a strong pull to the place even when they're far from it. A Kahului shirt is a quiet way to say where you're from, and it lands well with someone who's spent years away and misses the sound of the trade winds. Pair the city name with a second line for a neighborhood, a school or a year, and it becomes personal. A mug suits the morning coffee ritual of someone who wants a reminder of home on the kitchen counter. For a kid, a Kahului tee or onesie marks where their family's story begins.
