About this kanawha falls gift
Kanawha Falls is a small place, and the people who grew up there tend to carry it with them. Someone who left for college, for a job in a bigger city or for a stretch in the military still keeps the falls and the river in their head, and a shirt with the town on it is an easy way to say where they're from. Small-town gifts land best when they're a little specific: the year they moved away, the high school class, a family name. Pair the town name with a second line for that detail and the shirt becomes theirs instead of a generic place tee. A mug suits the person who misses home and wants a daily reminder, while a hoodie fits the cold mornings they remember from growing up. If you're buying for someone still living there, a shirt they can wear to the grocery store or a school game is the kind of gift that gets worn until it falls apart.
