About this meshoppen gift
Meshoppen is a small borough in Wyoming County, Pennsylvania, and the people who grew up there tend to carry it with them for life. Someone who left for college or a job in the city still says they're from Meshoppen, and a shirt with the town name is how they say it without a speech. Small-town gifts land best when they feel specific to the place, so the name itself does most of the work. Add a year, a class, or a line like Born and Raised, and the shirt becomes a little bit theirs. For the family member who moved away, a mug with the town on it is a daily reminder of home. Parents and grandparents who stayed behind often want a hoodie for the cold months, and a baby onesie is a quiet way to start a new generation with the family's hometown on it.
