About this onyx gift
Onyx is a word people tend to know from the stone, the black banded kind that gets carved into jewelry and signet rings, so a shopper buying for someone called Onyx or with a link to Onyx may be working from either meaning. Since the page is built around Onyx as a city-style word, the gift is best aimed at someone with a real attachment to the place or name: a person who grew up there, a family that moved there, or a friend who loves the sound and look of the word itself. Dark backgrounds suit it well, since onyx is black and a dark tee or hoodie carries the word with a bit of weight. For a kid, a kids tee or baby onesie with the name makes a keepsake that marks the arrival. A mug is the everyday option, something they'll reach for each morning. Type the word exactly as the recipient wants it spelled, and use the second line for a year, a street or a nickname so the piece reads as theirs.
