About this pacolet gift
Pacolet is a small mill town in Spartanburg County, South Carolina, and the people from there tend to hold on to it hard. A shirt with the town name is how someone who grew up there says so, whether they still live a few miles away or have moved across the country for work. The town is small enough that a Pacolet shirt is likely to start a conversation with another local in a grocery store or at a gas station. For someone who has left, a mug on the kitchen counter is a steady little reminder of home. For a kid growing up there now, a baby onesie or kids tee with the town name is a way of marking where they started. Pick the light or dark shirt that fits their wardrobe, and add a second line with a year or a street if you want the gift to feel specific to them.
