About this peosta gift
Peosta is a small village in Dubuque County, Iowa, and most people who live there know everyone else on the same few roads. A shirt that says Peosta is how someone wears their hometown without having to explain where it is. Locals tend to be proud of small places, and a Peosta tee or hoodie works for a homecoming weekend, a summer at the county fair, or a move to a bigger city where they miss the familiar streets. Add a second line for their street, their school or the year they graduated, and the design starts to belong to one person instead of just the place. A Peosta mug fits the morning coffee ritual of someone who grew up there and still checks in on the local news. Since Peosta is small, the designs for this word are a good fit for the quieter, personal gifts people keep.
