About this pompton lakes gift
Pompton Lakes is a small borough in northern New Jersey, and people who grew up there tend to stay attached to it, whether they still live nearby or ended up across the country. A shirt with the town name is how they claim it at a family reunion, a college reunion, or a Jersey trip that takes them past the old neighborhood. Because the town is small, a Pompton Lakes shirt carries a lot of local meaning for the people who know it, and it often makes a good gift for someone who moved away and misses home. Add a graduation year, a street, or the year they moved, and the shirt becomes specific to their own story rather than just a souvenir. For the one who stayed, a Pompton Lakes hoodie or mug is an everyday reminder of the place they chose. Keep the spelling exact, since the town name is the whole point of the gift.
