About this ransom gift
Ransom is a small place, and the people who grew up there tend to carry the name with them wherever they go. A shirt that says Ransom is how someone shows they're from a town that doesn't show up on many maps, which is its own kind of pride. Ransom people know each other, and a shirt or mug with the town name is the kind of thing a sibling, a childhood friend or a parent who still lives there would actually use. It works well for anyone who moved away and misses the place, or for someone who never left and wears the town name like a badge. Because the word is a little unusual, you can also add a second line with a year, a high school class or a street, which makes the gift feel specific to the person rather than a generic souvenir.
