About this rutherfordton gift
Rutherfordton is a small town in western North Carolina, the seat of Rutherford County, and people who grew up there tend to hold onto it. A shirt with the town name is how someone who moved away for work or school shows where they're from, and how a current resident quietly claims their hometown at a game or a family cookout. Many people in a town this size know each other or their families, so a Rutherfordton design often gets a second look and a conversation. For someone who has left, a mug on the kitchen counter keeps the town close every morning. For someone who stayed, a hoodie for the cold months is a plain, useful way to say they belong there. Add a second line with a graduation year, a street, or a family name to make it theirs.
