About this schenevus gift
Schenevus is a small village in Otsego County in upstate New York, and the people who say it with pride tend to know every road, church and diner in town. A shirt with the village name is how someone who grew up there, or whose family still does, carries it to a college town, a city job or a holiday visit back home. Small places like this often mean more on something you can wear or drink from, because the name is the whole point. Pair it with a second line for a graduation year, a family name or the year they moved away, and it becomes a record of where they started. For someone who's left and misses the quiet, a mug on the kitchen counter is a daily reminder of home.
