About this swampscott gift
Swampscott is a small seaside town on Massachusetts's North Shore, the kind of place people tend to leave for a while and then come back to. Someone who grew up there, or who spent summers at its beaches, often carries it around as a point of pride, and a Swampscott shirt is a quiet way of saying where they're from. The town is small enough that most people who live there know each other, so a design with the town name and a second line for a neighborhood, a school class year or a family nickname feels like it belongs to them specifically. A hoodie suits the chilly walks along the shore in the off-season, and a mug works for the transplant who misses the harbor smell in the morning. Because the name is short and distinctive, the design stays clean and easy to read, which lets the personal detail do the rest of the work.
