About this tarentum gift
Tarentum is a small river town in western Pennsylvania, on the Allegheny just above Pittsburgh, and people from there tend to stay proud of it. A Tarentum shirt is how someone who grew up on those hills says where they're from, whether they still live nearby or ended up in another state entirely. Small towns don't get much merchandise, so a shirt with the town name is often the first thing a former resident reaches for when they want to feel close to home. It also works well for a return visit, a class reunion or a family trip back to visit relatives. If you're buying for someone who moved away, pair the town name with the year they left or the street they grew up on, and the shirt becomes a small piece of their own history rather than a generic souvenir.
