About this wainwright gift
Wainwright is a village name rather than a city, so the shirts and mugs for this word tend to go to people who feel a real tie to the place: someone who grew up there, moved away, or has family still in the area. A tee or hoodie with the name is a quiet way of saying where they're from, and it works as well for a visit home as it does for a daily commute. Because the name is less familiar than a big city, the person receiving it will likely get a question about it, which makes a good excuse to tell the story behind it. If you know the family or the street they grew up on, you can add that on a second line to make the design theirs. For the person who has moved far from home, a mug with the village name is an easy daily reminder of where they started.
