About this cad designer gift
CAD designers spend long hours staring at drawings, models and tolerance stacks, so a gift that makes the workday a little more fun tends to get used. Many of them work in product design, architecture, mechanical or civil engineering, or manufacturing, and their days are full of revisions and deadlines that only other designers really understand. A tee for the drafting room, a hoodie for the cold office or the late-night push before a release, or a mug for the first coffee of the morning all fit that rhythm. To make it theirs, add a second line with their specialty or their credential, such as mechanical, architectural or their certification, if they hold one. Only add the credential if they actually have it. A name on the design makes it personal, and that matters in a shop where everyone's workstation looks alike.
