About this cert occupational therapy asst gift
Certified occupational therapy assistants spend their days helping people relearn the ordinary things, like buttoning a shirt, holding a spoon, or getting back to work after an injury. They're on their feet, moving equipment, and working one-on-one with patients who often need encouragement as much as exercises. A gift that acknowledges the hands-on, patient-centered side of the job tends to land well. Put COTA on the front, and add the setting they work in, such as pediatrics, hand therapy, skilled nursing or home health, on the second line so it's clearly theirs. A mug for the morning coffee before a long day of sessions, or a hoodie for the cold clinic hallway, makes practical sense. If you're buying for a whole department, the Team Shop lets you order one design with each therapist's name on their own shirt, which tends to be more appreciated than another round of cafeteria lunch.
