About this consultant intern gift
A consultant intern is usually young, working long days on slide decks and data pulls, and often the only person in the room who hasn't done this before. Summer internships and co-op rotations are the usual setting, and the intern is trying to look sharp while learning fast. A gift that acknowledges the work without being cute tends to land best: a tee for the commute or the weekend, a hoodie for the chilly office or the late nights at the laptop, a mug for the first coffee of a client-prep morning. The consultant intern label is specific enough to feel earned, and it makes a good conversation starter with mentors. You can pair it with a second line for the firm, a city or a start year to make it personal. Interns often rotate between teams, so something light and wearable is easier to keep than a big formal gift.
