About this councilman gift
A councilman spends a lot of evenings in meeting rooms, reading agendas, and hearing from neighbors about potholes, zoning and the park that needs new benches. The people who serve on a city council rarely get thanked in public, so a gift that acknowledges the job, even with a bit of humor, tends to land well. A tee or hoodie is something they can wear to a community cookout or a ribbon cutting, and a mug fits the early coffee before the first council packet arrives. Add the district, the city or the year they took office in the second line if you know it, and the gift stops being generic and starts reflecting the work they've put in. Keep it simple and sincere, and let the design do the talking.
