About this director admissions gift
An admissions director spends the year reading applications, running campus visits, and answering the same questions from anxious families with more patience than most people have. The gifts that land are the ones that acknowledge that work: a tee for the drive to a college fair, a hoodie for the cold walk across campus on decision days, a mug for the office where the coffee has to last through a long review. A shirt with their title on it is a small way of saying you know what the job actually involves. Add the school or the year they started, and it becomes theirs. If you're buying for a whole admissions office, one design in the Team Shop with each person's name on their own shirt beats another round of cake. Admissions offices tend to get especially busy in the fall and again in the spring, when decisions go out, so ordering a few weeks ahead keeps the gift from arriving in the middle of the rush.
