About this director appeals gift
Director of appeals is a role most people outside the legal or insurance world have never heard of, which makes a gift with the title on it a nice surprise. Appeals directors typically oversee the process of challenging denied claims, rulings or decisions, and the work is detailed, persistent and often unseen. A tee or hoodie with the title lets them show what they do without explaining it at every dinner. Add their name, their organization's initials or the year they took the role in the second line. For the person who spends their days reading case files and pushing back on decisions, an 11 oz mug with their title is a daily reminder that the work is recognized. Pick a dark shirt if they tend to wear black to the office, or a hoodie for the cold early mornings before the phones start ringing.
