About this director controls gift
Director controls is a job title you'll mostly hear in film and television sets, on live event crews, and in the world of stage and video production. The person in that role is usually running a lot of moving parts at once: lighting cues, camera positions, sound levels, and whatever the director changes their mind about at the last minute. Long days, headset on, coffee going cold. A gift that acknowledges that work lands well. A tee for the load-in, a hoodie for the cold night shoots, or a mug for the production office where they plan the next call sheet. Add their name, or the production they're proud of, and it becomes theirs. If you're buying for a whole crew, the Team Shop lets you order one design with each person's name on their own shirt, which tends to be the gift the crew actually wears back to the set.
