About this director speech language gift
A speech language director runs the speech-language pathology side of a school district, a clinic or a hospital. They spend their days balancing caseloads, training therapists, sitting in IEP meetings and fighting for budget lines, and they often do it while still carrying a clinical caseload of their own. The gifts that land are the ones that acknowledge that double life. A tee for the office or for the drive between buildings, a hoodie for the cold conference room, a mug that stays on the desk through a long run of budget meetings. Put their title on it, director of speech language services, or shorten it to speech language director if the line is tight. If you know the setting, add the district, clinic or program name on a second line. Many designs have room for that. Speech language pathology is a field where recognition is rare, so a personal piece with their title on it tends to be kept far longer than a generic gift.
