Proud Editing Intern Script & Block dark tee

About this editing intern gift

An editing intern is usually reading drafts at a desk before the sun is up, marking up someone else's sentences and learning to tell a comma splice from a real problem. The gifts that land for this person are the ones that acknowledge the long hours of unglamorous work that makes a publication run. A soft tee for the commute, a hoodie for the chilly office or the late-night copy deadline, or a mug that's clearly theirs for the endless cups of coffee that fuel fact-checking. Put the word editing intern across the front, and add the publication or team name on the second line if you know it, or their year of internship. That turns a generic job shirt into something they'll want to wear to the first real editorial meeting. A small, personal gift like this tells them you noticed the effort they're putting in, even when nobody else has said so yet.
